Custom Touch Granite (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website customtouchgranite.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information you provide to us, including through our contact forms, quote request forms, and chat widget.

Information We Collect

When you request a quote, contact us, or use our chat widget, we may collect:

• Name
• Phone number
• Email address
• Project details (e.g., material type, project timeline, project address)
• Any other information you choose to provide in a message or form
• The IP address the form was sent from, stored with the enquiry. We keep it only to tell a real enquiry from an automated one; it is not used for advertising and it is not shared.

We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to:

• Respond to your inquiry and provide a quote or estimate
• Schedule consultations or appointments
• Communicate with you about your project
• Improve our services and website

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

How We Share Information

Analytics and Click Tracking

When you tap Free Quote, Call or Text on this site, we record that the tap happened. Two copies are kept, and they are used for different things:

• Google Analytics. The tap is sent to Google Analytics as an event, alongside the ordinary page-view data Analytics already collects. This is what tells us which pages and which advertisements actually lead people to get in touch. Google’s own privacy terms apply to that copy, and you can opt out of Google Analytics entirely with Google’s browser add-on.
• Our own records. A row is written on this website recording which button was tapped, which page it was tapped from, the site or advertisement you arrived from, and whether the device was a phone, a tablet or a computer. We use it to answer enquiries accurately and to spot automated abuse of the contact forms.

What we do not keep in those records: your name, your email address, and your IP address. The IP address is converted into a one-way code the moment it reaches us, and the address itself is never written down. That code lets us see that the same visitor came back, or that one source is hammering the form, without us holding anything that identifies you.

We also want to be plain about a common misunderstanding: a click cannot reveal anyone’s age, gender or income, and we do not collect them. Google Analytics estimates some of that for people signed in to a Google account, reports it only in aggregate, and never attaches it to an individual. That estimate is the only version of it that exists, and it is Google’s, not ours.

Our own click records are deleted automatically after 90 days.
